MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE

Exprit TDX S

In its latest “S” evolution, the TDX continues its technical development while retaining a chassis built entirely from 32 mm-diameter chrome-molybdenum steel tubing, available in Direct Drive, Shifter and DD2 configurations. The Model Year 2027 introduces significant updates, including HFT and HFZ stub axles, a new 180 mm floating brake disc and, for the Shifter version, a new chain tensioner. These solutions are part of a project developed in accordance with the high-quality standards that define OTK Kart Group’s manufacturing processes.

Shared technology

A PROVEN FORMULA

The TDX S joins the Noesis TS, the benchmark model in the Exprit Kart range, sharing its main technical solutions while retaining its distinctive chassis, built entirely from 32 mm-diameter tubing. In terms of components, the main updates include the introduction of HFT and HFZ stub axles for the Direct Drive and Shifter versions, respectively, together with the new 180 mm floating brake disc and a new chain tensioner for the Shifter configuration. The M11 Fairing Kit and BWD and BWZ braking systems are retained.

HFT and HFZ stub axles

ENHANCED DRIVING FEEL

The TDX “S” evolution introduces two different front-end solutions: HFT stub axles for the Direct Drive configuration and HFZ stub axles for the Shifter version. Both components have been refined to deliver a more immediate response from the kart and help drivers better perceive its behaviour. This development contributes to improved drivability and allows the chassis to perform with greater versatility as track conditions change.

BWD braking system

LATE BRAKING FOR DIRECT DRIVE CLASSES

Specifically designed for single-speed classes, the BWD braking system is one of the defining features of the TDX S Direct Drive configuration. Its key components are the master cylinder and brake caliper, both manufactured from high-quality materials carefully selected by OTK Kart Group’s R&D Department. The aim is to improve heat dissipation, significantly reduce brake fluid temperature and provide the driver with consistent braking feel.

Among the updates introduced with the “S” evolution is the adoption of a 180 mm floating brake disc. This solution delivers more effective and consistent braking performance over time while also helping to reduce brake pad wearing.

BWZ braking system

DESIGNED FOR SHIFTER

The development programme that led to the BWD system for Direct Drive classes also gave rise to the BWZ braking system, specifically designed for shifter categories. Its main characteristics remain unchanged, with a master cylinder and rear brake caliper following the same design philosophy as the single-speed version.

The brakeforce distributor and front brake calipers have also been revised compared with the previous version, both in their forged and machined components. They now feature an innovative design, consistent with that of the master cylinder and rear caliper, incorporating optimised fins and thicknesses to further improve heat dissipation and structural rigidity. The BWZ version also adopts a 180 mm-diameter rear brake disc.

M11 fairing kit

DISTINCTIVE DESIGN

Aerodynamics play an increasingly important role in karting. For this reason, OTK Kart Group’s R&D Department has devoted particular attention to this aspect, continuously developing innovative solutions and validating them through a combination of computerised CFD simulations, wind tunnel testing and on-track testing.

The M11 fairing kit, compliant with current FIA regulations, is the result of this development process. It includes a front number panel spoiler and front bumper, both featuring an all-new design, paired with M10 side bumpers.

Pedals and steering wheel

OPTIMISED DRIVING POSITION

The new TDX features not only numerous updates but also several established components. Among these are OTK Kart Parts’ fully adjustable pedals which, together with the inclined steering wheel hub, ensure an optimal driving position and allow quick and easy adjustment of the seating position.

The steering wheel also remains unchanged, with the HGS model retained. Its high-grip covering significantly reduces the effort required while driving. This combination of features allows the driving position to be tailored precisely to the needs of each driver.

DD2 version

DETAILS THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Like the Noesis TS, the TDX S in its DD2 configuration features HFZ stub axles and the BWZ braking system with the new 180 mm-diameter floating brake disc. Specific to this chassis version is the removable support system for the exhaust support.
